What is JAM?

JAM is a faith formation program for Pre-K to Senior High. It is Family focused and Bible based.

Kids learn the Bible by hands on experience, kid friendly worship, and mission projects.

There are learning labs for the younger children, confirmation for middle school, and Youth Group for teens.

*JAM follows the Le Sueur-Henderson School District for unexpected closures. If afterschool activities are canceled, JAM will not meet.

Faith Milestones

Pre-K & kindergarten: Learn a table prayer to use during family mealtime!  Beginning to understand the story of Christmas and Easter

1st grade and 2nd grade: Learn the Lord's Prayer, and simple faith statements, also learn a memory verse, and be able to name five Bible characters

3rd and 4th grade: Know how to find the book of the Bible using a table of context. Know 10 Bible stories. Basic understanding of Easter and Christmas

5th and 6th grade: be able to recite the books of the Bible in Old and New Testament in order. Know 15 bible stories. Know the story of Easter and Christmas

7th, 8th, : be able to finish a fill in the blank prayer, easily find scriptures, category of the books of the Bible, basic church history, basic Wesleyan concepts (grace and assurance). By the y end of 9th grade students should be able to write their faith statement.

9th -12th grade: Be able to say a spontaneous prayer and help others find things in scripture. Serve in church. Serve as Jr. Counselors to younger students.
