A program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

Saturday, November 5,  8am to Sunday, November 6, 8am

On Saturday, Nov. 5, teens may play games and heal kids! Extra Life is a fundraiser where 100 percent of the money raised will go to benefit local kids through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This free event for teens age 13 to 18 is from 8am on Nov. 5 until 8am on Nov. 6; including the clock fall back.

Teens, sign-up online at https://www.extra-life.org/team/lsumc. Then ask your friends and family to donate to your fundraising page. There is a $5 minimum of fundraising to participate. Play any game on any platform; board games and other tabletop games, too! Participants are welcome to bring their own games (no rated M or A games), gaming systems, laptops, and mobile devices. All meals are provided. Participants may bring their own snacks, beverages, or food for special diets.

Call Youth Director Matthew White at (507)665-2398 for more details. Registration and permission slip required.  Adults, we are looking for volunteers to help throughout the marathon as well. Volunteers will need to complete Safe Gatherings training.

For school-aged children and teens. Come right after school on Le Sueur-Henderson’s Early Out to create Slightly Spooky Ghosts that can hang or sit on a surface. Snacks and drinks provided. You may take home your creations. Led by youth leaders.

  JAM (Jesus and Me)

Wednesdays, 6pm

For ages three through grade 12, parents and volunteers. We have a new curriculum focused on fun, hands-on activities and games, exciting family worship time with new music, and a new way to act out Bible stories. Of course, we’ll still have delicious food served at 6pm, followed by worship at 6:30pm, then break out into small groups at 7pm for activities and lessons. Confirmation and high-school ministry also continues with fun new ideas. JAM meets during the Le Sueur-Henderson School year and follows severe weather advisories for the district. JAM is free of charge; the meal is a free-will offering. There is no requirement for regular attendance or membership to attend JAM.


First, Third & Fifth Tuesdays,  6-9pm

Ages 16+ are welcome. Explore the power of story in fellowship with experienced Storyteller Matthew White and other players from the community. 5th edition game. No prior experience necessary.
